What is a Eco-Adventure?

Eco adventure is the combination of adventurous activity with environmentally responsible awareness. Destinations and activities vary widely, and can be anything from floating a raging river in South Africa to soaring through the tree canopy in the Ozarks! One thing each eco-adventure has in common is the goal of appreciating and enjoying natural beauty with minimal physical impact to the area.

At Wolfe Mountain, we strive to be good stewards of the land while enabling our guest to experience the wonders of the Ozarks in an unparalleled way. By using the least invasive and lowest impact construction processes, giving priority to the fauna that call Wolfe Creek Preserve home, and simultaneously developing an adventurous tourism activity that excites even the most experienced explorer, Branson Zipline at Wolfe Mountain has stepped into the forefront of the eco adventure industry.

Soaring through the tree canopy via ziplines and our innovative sky bridges is a one of a kind eco adventure that you will not want to miss. You do not have to travel to Alaska, Australia, Africa, or South America to experience world class eco adventure. You can find it in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, at Wolfe Mountain.

Eco Friendly Construction

It is possible to build a zipline without destroying the surrounding environment. To do so takes a lot of patience, some sharp thinkers and dedicated contractors, and lots of money. For instance, to limit the impact of heavy equipment on the mountainside, we brought in helicopters to transport and set the poles for our bridges and zipline towers. In the entire construction process, we strove for ecological responsibility and quality above all.

Eco Minded Associates

Our consultants, contractors, and employees understand the importance of preserving the environment and it is evident in everything we do. Wolfe Mountain is governed by a comprehensive Forest Management Plan.
