Returning to Work at Branson Zipline

With the holidays behind us it is time to return to work at Branson Zipline! We have brought in an excavation team to help us get the drills to some of the more stubborn areas of the property, and while it has definitely been a process we are making steady progress. In particular, the icy paths are making it difficult, but we hopefully won’t have to deal with that issue much longer. As for progress on the actual zipline course, […]

Branson Zipline Begins Taking Reservations for May 1 and Beyond

Branson Zipline is ringing in the New Year in phenomenal fashion, officially taking reservations for May 1, 2010 and beyond starting today, January 1! We have already received tremendous positive response on the blog and through word of mouth and expect the buzz to build exponentially as the official opening draws nearer, making reserving your zipline experience an easy recommendation. Currently, guests will be able to book for any four of the initial options we plan to feature on opening […]

Continuing to Take Care of the Details

[singlepic id=257 w=320 h=240 float=left]Even with the majority of our crew on leave for the holidays we are managing to find ways to stay busy and keep a steady stride towards the eventual opening of Branson Zipline. At the moment, much of our energy is being spent on creating new paths to make maneuvering the property easier and drilling the holes for the platforms we plan to erect within the next month. Aside from creating new paths and preparing for […]

Focusing on the Horizon

[singlepic id=184 w=320 h=240 float=left]As the winter break continues, there is not much to report in the way of physical progress. However, there is big news for those of you who plan to take part in Branson’s very first zipline experience! At www.BransonZipline.com, we will be taking reservations starting January 1, 2010 for May 1, 2010 and beyond! While we currently expect to be fully operational before May 1, we do not want to disappoint, so we are currently setting […]

More of the Same at the Moment (That’s a Good Thing)

[singlepic id=225 w=320 h=240 float=left]There’s not really anything progress to report on today. The portion of the crew that is still in town is continuing to work on spreading dirt for what will eventually be the parking lot and gift shop area and are continuing to drill holes for eventual zipline platforms, but that’s about all that is happening at Branson Zipline. This may be the last post until the new week, so until next time have a safe weekend […]

Construction Continues Throughout the Break

The portion of the crew that works on installing the ziplines and platforms has officially taken off for the holidays, but we are still hard at work at Branson Zipline. If you compare the newest pictures in the image gallery with the pictures from the past few weeks you should be able to begin to notice that the entrance road and land just to the left of the entrance road as you enter the property are beginning to look quite […]

Big Progress Before the Break

[singlepic id=194 w=320 h=240 float=left]The first zipline is officially working! One of the platforms it attaches to is incomplete and the only way to stop is to ram into a giant pole, but it still works! This is great news going into the break, which begins this weekend and lasts through the holidays. We do plan to continue work on aspects of the grounds, hopefully completing the parking lot by the time the portion of the crew that works on […]

Continuing Work On Our First Two Platforms

[singlepic id=193 w=320 h=240 float=left]As we continue to near completion on the first two platforms, a variety of other changes and progress are taking place at Branson Zipline. Currently, we are working on the specifics of the zipline placement, trimming tree lines to ensure that our visitors won’t get caught on stray limbs. Also, throughout the day, the dump trucks were continue to show up just about every hour on the hour with dirt to help level the parking area […]

The First Two Platforms Are Near Completion!

[singlepic id=166 w=320 h=240 float=left]It is official; we are on the last leg of constructing the first two platforms for the course! Aside from being yet another benchmark in our progress, images of the crew scaling the over 20 foot poles and working in mid-air offer countless opportunities for some awesome photos. We definitely recommend checking out some of the snapshots of the crew in action in our image gallery. In addition to nearing completion of the construction of the […]

Slowly but Surely

[singlepic id=150 w=320 h=240 float=left]There are no complaints as to the positive change in weather we are beginning to experience, though that is not to say that even the warmer weather isn’t bringing about its own, unique set of problems. With the increase in the temperature condensation is no longer freezing inside the gas tanks and causing the machinery to not work properly, but it is melting the ice and condensation that had formed on the ground, turning our paths […]
