Wolfe Creek Wednesday: Come One, Come All!
April 3, 2013

This post is a part of a series on our blog called “Wolfe Creek Wednesday”. Each Wednesday, we’ll be posting a fun fact, story, or a newsworthy piece of information about Wolfe Creek Preserve that we think you’ll find interesting! Although we’re best known for our world-class zipline course, our beautiful facility is also home to an array of indoor and outdoor activities, rich history, and a natural setting that we take great care to protect. We’re excited to have you join us each Wednesday so we can share more about our mission to make Wolfe Creek Preserve a place where people of all ages can have fun adventures and make lasting memories with loved ones!

Catered Meals

Here at Wolfe Creek Preserve we are invested in creating memories that will last a lifetime. In order to do so, we love to bring families and friends together for activities that foster genuine interaction. On our property there are many different ways to spend quality time with the people that you love, some of which include ziplining, mining for precious gemstones, hiking through the beautiful Ozark wilderness and hunting for the perfect souvenir from our gift shop. In addition to all of these activities, we also have a more relaxing way to spend time in nature and with loved ones on our property: enjoying a meal in one of our peaceful pavilions.

There’s almost no better way to spend quality time with family or friends than the simple gesture of sharing a meal together. We love hosting guests after they’ve just completed an exhilarating day of ziplining or hiking in either our Xplorer Balcony or our Prospector Pavilion, depending on how many people are in the group. Both of our pavilions are covered in order to protect guest from the elements and are built from beautiful wood. The pavilions are rustic and inviting, just like the gorgeous natural setting around them. If you call in advance, you can work with our Sales Manager Wes to reserve one of these spaces. Along with ensuring that you have a space perfect for your guests, Wes will also coordinate food catering so that you and your family or friends can share a meal before or after enjoying any of the other activities at our world-renowned zipline facility. In addition to family and friends, these meeting spaces are also ideal for co-workers, conference-goers, church groups, youth groups, sports teams, parties and anniversary celebrations! Whether you have ten guests or one hundred, we work with you to create a space that best fits your needs.

Once, we even set up a temporary covered area in our parking lot and transformed the entire parking lot into a festive and beautiful space so a group of conference-goers could mingle and share a meal under a sunset sky. What we hope you realize is that our goal is to work with you to best understand your needs so that you have the best experience possible at Wolfe Creek Preserve.

At this point, you might be wondering what kind of food is available for you and guests to enjoy while spending a day at Wolfe Creek Preserve, and we have a great answer: nearly any food option or restaurant is possible if you call early enough in advance! Some great restaurants that we’ve worked with in the past have been Qdoba, Little Caesar’s Pizza, and Panera Bread. Whether your family loves sharing a hot and delicious pizza, eating individual-sized boxed lunches from Panera like turkey, ham, or roast beef sandwiches, or sitting around one of our rustic picnic tables dipping chips into a big bowl of queso, we have any option you could imagine! With a wide variety that comes from restaurants like Qdoba (with steak, chicken, or vegetarian boxed lunches), we also offer catering services from incredible local and national restaurants such as Danna’s BBQ, Golden Corral, and Coyote’s Adobe Cafe. From classic barbecue sandwiches and fries to burritos brimming with fresh ingredients, we have almost any food that you could want after a great day of ziplining or hiking with us. And, if you don’t see any restaurants or food that you and your guests would enjoy on this list, Wes is more than happy to work with you to provide a catered meal that your entire group will love!
